Our Autumn Guide to What’s On In and Around St Germans

There’s still plenty to do in Cornwall in the Autumn. This year we have a few treats; as always there is music every Saturday evening at the Stables at Port Eliot, plus some great events happening at St Germans Priory, most of which are listed on the South East Cornwall Arts website. If you like Candlelight concerts, a company called Feverup has a selection of events at Plymouth Aquarium, which look special. We haven’t included Plymouth in this list as have focused very locally, but there is always lots going on in the Theatre Royal Plymouth, as well as at Cornwall’s Hall for Cornwall, both of which are accessible by train. There’s also Carnglaze Caverns, about 15 miles from St Germans, which offers concerts and events in their atmospheric cave. This requires a car; we recommend Anthony’s Taxis on 07788 900222. It’s also well worth checking out Carn to Cove’s autumn programme of other theatrical and musical events. There are some gems throughout the autumn season. There is also a weekly film at Saltash Studios on Friday evening.
